Young Married Couples (Bible Study)

Young Married Couples (YMC) is for married and engaged couples who want to grow closer as a couple, closer to other couples, and closer to God through fellowship and study. We meet monthly (typically the
first Friday of every month) after work for cocktails and snacks, followed by a talk/discussion led by an experienced presenter which focuses on the real needs,
struggles and joys of younger couples. Following the talk, couples are encouraged to join together for dinner at a local restaurant and further discussion of the night’s
topic. In addition, the group meets for various social events and service projects throughout the year. The relationships gained through this group are invaluable, and provide the opportunity for those starting their lives
together to meet others in the same life situation.

• First Meeting - Friday, October 3 - This year, Next ministries has an exciting program planned for married and engaged couples who want to grow closer to each other, closer to other couples, and closer to God through fellowship and study. We will meet monthly (typically the first Friday of every month) after work for cocktails and snacks, followed by a talk/discussion led by an experienced presenter which focuses on the real needs, struggles and joys of younger couples. In addition, the group will meet for various social events and service projects throughout the year. The relationships gained through this group are invaluable, and provide the opportunity for those starting their lives together to meet others in the same life situation.

Our first event will be Friday, October 3, in Bonnell Hall. The topic, led by Paul Rock and Stacey Perkins-Rock, is "Carving Out Couple Time in NYC." Please join us as "Next Couples" kicks off the program year with an evening of discussion, wine, food, and friends. From 6:30 to 8:00 pm, Paul and Stacey will lead us in a dialog about how to make time for your mate in this busy city. Afterwards, those who wish can split off into smaller groups for dinner around the city. It's a wonderful chance to get to know some of the other young married and engaged couples at FAPC.
