FAPC is blessed with a wealth of members with
tremendous life experience who are willing and eager to
share their stories and insights with searching, ambitious
New Yorkers. The Mentor program pairs older members
with younger members in order to facilitate
cross-generational dialogue and relationships within
our congregation. After these pairings are made, all
participants meet together to “break the ice” and familiarize themselves with the program. From there, individual pairs may decide to meet and chat at coffee hour after church, go to dinner, or simply participate in other fellowship events together. The frequency of such meetings is completely at the choosing of those involved, whether it be once a month or once a week.
