Pledging is at the very heart of stewardship at Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. The success of our pledge drive determines how much we as a faith community may invest in ministries to our members and to the world.

Making a planned gift is not just for those who have wealth or special financial expertise, but for anyone with a generous spirit who wants to designate their gifts while they are living. As members and friends of Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, we share a deep sense of gratitude for those who have gone before us. They gave gifts to fund the current needs and for the long-term benefit of those who would follow them in ministry at this corner.

The generations of members and friends that came before us made it possible for us worship in our beautiful sanctuary today. As we look forward, we need to help ensure that our sanctuary will be preserved for future generations and that our worship activities can be enhanced. One opportunity to do this that will also leave an enduring mark is through a pew dedication.

The Legacy Association was established so that we could recognize and thank our members and friends who have remembered Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in their planned giving. Over 110 members and friends have now made such a commitment in thanksgiving to God. This culture of giving began long ago and through the years these caring gifts have enabled each succeeding generation to fulfill our beloved church’s mission. We hope that many more names will be added to the membership roster of the Legacy Association, enabling us to continue this fine tradition.
