Ushers and Greeters

Ushers and GreetersOur ministry of hospitality, supported by five rotating teams of church members, is the first contact that many people have with our church. The Ushers/Greeters program looks for reliable, conscientious, energetic, caring and dedicated people to serve. This is our largest volunteer organization, offering many opportunities for leadership, service and hospitality.

Ushers and Greeters serve a minimum of once every five weeks, or may be assigned to a floater team for special events. Individual teams meet briefly before serving; the entire Ushers and Greeters corps comes together two or three times a year for special breakfasts and training sessions.

An annual Ushers/Greeters meeting, held two weeks before Palm Sunday, is open to all who would like to learn about the group's role within Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church. Contact: Jacky Radifera ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
