11. Jesus is nailed to the cross

When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him and the criminals there, one on his right, the other on his left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” Luke 22:66-71
Reflection
In his most painful hours, Jesus prays for the forgiveness of his tormentors. Can we so selflessly forgive those “who trespass against us”?
Prayer
We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you. Through your faithfulness, you have redeemed the world.
