PAUL THE APOSTLE, that great evangelist of first-century Christianity, has historically been credited with nearly half the content of the New Testament. Scholars will continue to debate which epistles Paul wrote and which he merely “inspired,” but one thing is certain: no one did more to articulate and disseminate the theology of the early Church.

This year our CREDO series examines Paul from four perspectives. Today Executive Pastor Charlene Han Powell launches the series with a study of the First Letter to the Corinthians. In the coming weeks, our pastors will explore Paul’s letters to the Galatians, to Philemon and to the Romans. These classes promise to illuminate the remarkable diversity of the apostle’s writings.
