Lectio Divina with Brooke Matejka, Seminarian
As part of the Holy Week journey, we invite you to linger with Christ’s final moments of ministry on earth. Lectio divina (“divine reading”) dates to the third century in Christian spirituality. The four components of the exercise—reading, meditation, contemplation and prayer—encourage the practitioner not to study the theological meaning of Scripture, but to use the text as an entry point to creating communion with the living God.
Brooke Matejka, Seminarian leads this immersive, interactive workshop on an ancient method of connecting with the stories of our faith.
