Join us for an engaging lecture on the Book of Judges, led by Dr. Dong Sung Kim, Assistant Professor of Hebrew Bible at Drew Theological School. The Book of Judges raises significant questions about the concerns of ancient audiences after the fall of Israel and Judah, especially when read in the context of later periods of ancient Israelite history. We’ll read Judges “backward” in its canonical order while considering the critical questions ancient communities might have raised about their past, leadership, identity, and future.
