Friends, many of you have asked what Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church is doing to respond to the devastation inflicted on Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina by Hurricane Helene. The clergy have, of course, been praying for all who have lost loved ones. We have also prayed for those who have lost homes and places of business in this storm’s wake. We lift up, especially, our friends at the Presbyterian Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina, a very special place, where catastrophic flooding has washed out roads, downed power lines, and damaged both buildings and critical infrastructure.

Our Outreach Committee will release emergency response funds this coming week. This church will do what it can to extend a hand as people dig out and rebuild. If you would like to provide direct support to the Montreat Conference Center, you may do so through this link.
