The Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC) is diligently at work. The committee reports that advertisements will soon appear for our open Executive Pastor position in the Presbyterian Outlook and in the Christian Century magazine, both print and online. In addition, our website now features a dedicated page for the search. The search committee is also pleased to announce that the Commission on Ministry of the Presbytery of New York City has authorized the APNC to search for both of the church’s open pastoral positions: Executive Pastor and the Associate Pastor position being vacated by the Reverend Kate Dunn in May of 2021. Ken Henderson, the Chair of the APNC, observes that “This is a model that FAPC has followed before. In fact, both Kate and Charlene were called by the same APNC. It makes a lot of sense to do these two searches with one committee, and we are grateful to the Presbytery for opening this path to us.”
