The Mighty Austin Organ Tour

  • Audio for this sermon will be available on Monday.

With an exhibit in the Chesnut Gallery opening this fall, and a custom-built instrument to be installed in Kirkland Chapel in 2025, there’s a lot of excitement around pipe organs these days! Come see and hear for yourself what makes the organ a miracle of engineering.

Ryan Jackson, the William S. Perper Director of Music & Fine Arts Ministries, leads this tour of our awe-inspiring Sanctuary organ, “The Mighty Austin.” Built in 1961 by the Austin Organ Company of Hartford, Connecticut, the organ has four keyboards, a pedalboard and 119 ranks comprising more than 7,000 individual pipes.

Space is limited for this event. Please register here.
